Reliance SMART Bazaar

A supermarket that's covered every home need for 3+ years — and quietly become part of my own story. I've been shopping at Reliance Supermarket, Tirunelveli, for over 3 years now, and it consistently delivers — clean, well-organised, and stocked with pretty much everything, from caps and umbrellas to bathroom mats and daily essentials. One product that stood out: an ₹1000 umbrella that still feels worth it — auto-opens like a normal one, but also auto-closes with the same button press, which is a neat detail. One thing worth flagging for others: I've noticed customers arguing over billing here, possibly wrong entries — I haven't personally faced this, but it might be worth double-checking your bill before you leave. Beyond the shopping, this place has some personal history for me. Back in 2021, i n ma.x used to hang around and play in the parking lot as childish part. And In 2023, before leaving for my internship in Mauritius, I bought a pair of rough-use slippers from this same store. And now in 2026, right before leaving for the UK for my studies, I found myself buying the same kind of slippers from the same section — an odd little full-circle moment before heading out of the country again. Overall, a reliable, well-stocked supermarket — and for me, a small but real part of the memories tied to this city.

Yeah it's a huge place and huge items is there to buy a product, they maintain very neat and clean.
